Baking your own bread! May 2010
04 May 2010 10:30am-3:30pm Jamyang Buddhist Centre (Tara Room) The Old Courthouse, 43 Renfrew Rd Baking your own Bread with Peter! We simply loved it! In the morning Pete gave us a bread making demonstration and after a delicious lunch we had a go at making our own breads with guidance from Pete. We learned how to make a Basic Bread mix, Sourdough Bread and Focasia Bread. At the end of the day we all had a taste of the delicious freshly baked bread from the demonstration session. We also took home a lovely apron, handy recepies and the samples of Bread we made in the afternoon, to bake at home and share with our friends and family. We are looking to organize more cooking days at The Old Courthouse!
